Though i usually feel 99% of the friendship quotes are to woo the secret crush ;-)..Found this somewhere in Orkut recently...nice one..
Friends should be like zeros yes, when u adds they are same, when u subtract they are same, when u try to divide they become infinity.
At age 3 we started our studies with tears in eyes and at 22 we will finish our studies with tears in heart. The 1st tear is simply a water due to missing our parents and the 2nd one will be blood due to the missing of our friends
A really close friendship doesn’t just happen it travels a long way through misunderstanding stupid fights hesitation consoling words shoulders to cry and more that takes time to build the kind of trust and respect which makes friendship a lasting on....

People say Congress is great or NDA was better or Third front is best. There are infinite debates goining on everywhere to resolve who is better. NDA or UPA or Third Front or XYZ party. But if we have careful look at the reality there are lot major issues which are ignored by both the parties from last 50 years
Can you ever think of joining your kids in a government school in todays competition? If that is the case, just imagine the fate of the people who cannot afford costly education. What will be their future in coming years?
If you are planning to void your vote
Since the ballot paper / Electronic voting machine (EVM) contains only the list of candidates, a voter cannot record his vote under Section 49-O directly. He must inform the presiding officer at the election booth. This violates the secrecy of the ballot. However, with paper ballot a different method is used to "waste" ones vote, which is stamping on multiple candidates. In fact this was the standard method of giving null votes without violating secrecy before the advent of the EVM.
At present, in an election, a winner will be declared irrespective of the number of 'non-votes'. However, a note of every 'non-vote' will be made with the Election Officer, and the total number of non-voters will, presumably, be available under the Right to Information Act.
It's time for all of us to rush and save our house before the fire catches up and burns us away!!!

Conscience Constitution
As life moves on and the complexity of life increases.. One starts finding the need for a box of principles he must stand on in short called Conscience Constitution. As every administration needs a rule book based on which decisions needs to be made, human life planning and administration also needs a constitution to move the life in right direction. If not, life will be a small boat travelling in an ocean without any compass. Without a compass like conscience constitution, human life will be directionless boat in an ocean, which moves ahead not based upon its own direction but under the influences of temporary satisfactions and emotional imbalances just like sea winds and tornados.
Why Conscience Constitution?
· It gives life a direction
· It directs our life in our own defined direction
· It makes life’s decision making process simple and effective.
· It provides you better control over your life
· It shields you from societal malfunctions like Mass Hysteria, Visionless influences and many more.
Real Life Scenarios
Have you ever in life confused on how to react to a specific situation and feared taking a wrong decision. For example, from childhood if you are interested in being a doctor and there comes and a point where you need to take Maths or Biology in after your class 12, People start influencing you. They try to scare that becoming a doctor needs a lot of hard work, you need to get very promising rank in the entrance examination, you need to face very high competition, it’s very unlikely u succeed, better take Engineering stream. Here comes the dilemma. Should I choose what I really want and take responsibility later for my decision or should I move on with the crowd choosing a safer option.
Person 1 (Who finds the above example very easy to solve)
The person who finds above example not that complex to handle must be having three principles already mentioned in his Conscience Constitution.
· Follow your heart.
· Don’t get influenced by others
· You have enough strength and confidence to take care of your family even in adverse conditions.
Person 2 (Who feels he is in dilemma in this situation)
This person too has a conscience constitution but he finds the points in it confliction each other
· Follow your heart
· Don’t be over confident about your skills
· Family is your first priority
· You can’t do which you don’t like
This person will be in serious dilemma and struggles to make decision and starts finding answers from others. Most likely he ends up taking the decision of the last person he has consulted before making the final decision.
Person 3 (Who has no concept of Conscience Constitution)
This person either has too many points or no points in his CC which stops him from thinking when he makes decision. These kind of persons just do off things randomly and struggle later to find excuses for their acts and finally end up with a compromising life.
Formulating Conscience Constitution
Everyone has basic CC which has the basic ethics and morals which were taught to us in our childhood. We never think of stabbing anyone or hitting anyone without any reason. We say sorry when we do mistakes. These kind of basic things will always be in the initial pages of our CC. As life in childhood, is pretty simple and is always under constant support of parents, we don’t need much of our CC other than these basics. As life moves on and things get complicated, there comes the need to add more points to our CC to make future decision making effective and less error prone.
So now how to add new points to our CC. Our mind has two power centers for decision making. One is our Mind and the other is Heart. A person is called too practical if he uses his Mind most of the times and called too emotional if he uses his Heart instead. When to use what is purely dependent upon ones social upbringing and one needs to consider these when he adds points to his CC.
The first point by default to be added always is “Never Violate CC at any cost”. If this is not in place, there is no point in having a CC.

I came across this in one of the email forwards... Its worth reading ..
In life, a lesson learned in your past that you will never forget completely. When I was in elementary school, I got into a major argument with a boy in my class. I have forgotten what the argument was about, but I have never forgotten the lesson learned that day.
I was convinced that "I" was right and "he" was wrong - and he was just as convinced that "I" was wrong and "he" was right.
The teacher decided to teach us a very important lesson. She brought us up to the front of the class and placed him on one side of her desk and me on the other. In the middle of her desk was a large, round object. I could clearly see that it was black. She asked the boy what color the object was. "White," he answered.
I couldn't believe he said the object was white, when it was obviously black! Another argument started between my classmate and me, this time about the color of the object.
The teacher told me to go stand where the boy was standing and told him to come stand where I had been. We changed places, and now she asked me what the color of the object was. I had to answer, "White." It was an object with two differently colored sides, and from his viewpoint it was white. Only from my side was it black.
My teacher taught me a very important lesson learned that day: You must stand in the other person's shoes and look at the situation through their eyes in order to truly understand their perspective .

It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing thatthere are many things about yourself that you didn't know and may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two,but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.
You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friendsthat you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people youhave ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are some of the mostimportant ones. *What you don't recognize is that they are realizing thattoo, and aren't really cold, catty, mean or insincere, but that they are asconfused as you. ***You look at your job... and it is not even close to what you thought youwould be doing, or maybe you are looking for a job and realizing that youare going to have to start at the bottom and that scares you.
Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and findyourself judging more than usual because suddenly you realize that you havecertain boundaries in your life and are constantly adding things to yourlist of what is acceptable and what isn't. One minute, you are insecure andthen the next, secure.
You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone andscared and confused. Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try and cling onto the past with dear life, but soon realize that the past is driftingfurther and further away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you areor move forward.
*You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do suchdamage to you*. Or you lie in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyonedecent enough that you want to get to know better. Or maybe you love someonebut love someone else too and cannot figure out why you're doing thisbecause you know that you aren't a bad person. One night stands and randomhook ups start to look cheap. Getting wasted and acting like an idiot startsto look pathetic. *You go through the same emotions and questions over andover, and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannotseem to make a decision*. You worry about loans, money, the future andmaking a life for yourself... and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!

At dawn the telephone rings.
"Hello, Master Carlos? This is Arnaldo your country house caretaker"
"Ah yes, Mr.Arnaldo. What can I do for you? Is there a problem?"
"Um, I am just calling to advise you, sir, that your parrot died"
"My parrot? Dead? The one that won the competition?"
"That's the one."
"Darn! That's such a pity! I spent a small fortune on that bird. Oh
well...what did he die from?"
"From eating rotten meat."
"Rotten meat? Who was so mean as to give him meat?"
"Nobody. He ate the meat of one of the dead horses."
"Dead horse? What dead horse Mr.Arnaldo?"
"Why, those pure breed ones that you had, sir. They died from all that
work pulling the water cart."
"Are you insane? What water cart?"
"The one we used to put out the fire."
"Good Lord! What fire are you talking about, man?"
"The one at your house!
A candle fell and then the curtain caught on fire."
"What the.....!!!But there’s electricity at the house!!!! What was the candle for???"
"For the funeral."
"WHAT BLOODY FUNERAL???!!!!!"
"Your mother's! She showed up one night out of the blue and I thought she was a thief, so I shot her."

Well today by chance i went to gurupujamahotsav and also a milan kind of event conducted by RSS to unite IT related people in RSS and also explain what RSS is to the newbies. After the event i realized that all the impression i had on RSS earlier was purely a misconception. Earlier i used to think that RSS is an organization which acts as a protector of Hindu's just like any other religious organizations, but its way beyond the reality.
I was surprised to see many intellectuals including people from IT holding respectable positions in various MNCS are volunteering the event in the typical RSS uniform. Later i was spell bound seeing a hindu muslim couple taking their seats in the meeting. I was really unable to figure out whats happening. Why on earth a muslim married woman is attending a RSS meeting!!!.
Later the event started and one of the senior associate of RSS has delivered a speech on the idealogies of RSS since its inception. This is the time my eyes started to open.
RSS which i earlier thought to be a pro hindu anti muslim organization is basically an organization which is evolved to bring up a sense of responsibility and patriotism among the citizens inorder to support and give a helping hand in eradicating the social meladies like untouchability, caste feelings, poverty and many more.
Its an organization which believes that the good taught by the hindu mythology must be practised to the betterment of the society.
Later i realized that the puja which is being done is not for any idol or any swamiji but for a saffron flag which symbolizes the idealogies of the RSS. They feel human is bound by limitations but not the idiologies. The following is a small paragraph in the pamphlet given by them during the event which gives us a glimpse of their ideology
"God gives us everything; let us also learn to give something.
Its basically whoever bounds their head towards the flag will strive for the betterment of the society and work for the upliftment of the backward and help the needy. Helping the unemployed by finding them jobs is also a part of the social service done by the organization.
After the event, i felt one must not come to conclusions unless he has a clear understanding on what he is concluding upon. From now though i may not be a hard core Rashtriya Swayam Sevak or not even a volunteer, i would atleast encourage one to join RSS if he has true inclinations towards social service regardless of any religion.

Life
Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983.
From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed:
"Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"?
To this Arthur Ashe replied:
"The world over -- 50 million children start playing tennis,
5 million learn to play tennis,
500,000 learn professional tennis,
50,000 come to the circuit,
5000 reach the grand slam,
50 reach Wimbledon,
4 to semi final,
2 to the finals,
When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD 'Why me?'.
And today in pain I should not be asking GOD 'Why me?' "
"Happiness keeps you Sweet,
Trials keep you Strong,
Sorrow keeps you Human,
Failure keeps you humble and Success keeps you glowing, but only Faith & Attitude Keeps you going...

Recently i have come across a very good networking site called onefamily. Its not the usual friend making networking site, but its connects u to ur relatives. It maintains ur family tree and as the users increases day by day there are chances that u may find ur very distant relatives u never met or ur pals who are actually related to u.
As every human must be a relative to the other at somepoint or the other in the mega human family tree,i personally wish that the extented family tree will trace out in what way im related of my pals...
